A fellow gardener has a picture of an iris on her site and can't identify the species. I have been searching in vane to help and now it's starting to drive me just a little crazy, sort of like finding that one puzzle piece I need to fill in a picture. Anyway, in researching this plant I came across a very comprehensive site called Iris City Gardens. They offer a huge selection of Irises from Japanese to Water Garden types. I've just discovered another interesting plant source called Plant Delights Nursery. Plant Delights is the funding source for Juniper Level Botanic Gardens located in Raleigh, North Carolina. They offer an extensive assortment of hosta as well as a variety of perennials. Plant Delights warns of the addictive nature of their catalog and will even mail it to you in a plain brown wrapper! This tongue-in-cheek site is well worth a visit.
