I was looking around on the net for some plant sources and found the Whatcom Seed Company. Located in Oregon, they bill themselves as carrying seeds of the rare, exotic, unusual and beautiful. And it's true. They offer a wide variety of vegetable, tree, shrub and flower seeds including some things I have never seen before. You can grow a Protea-the national flower of South Africa, or a blue shrimp plant, or even your own coffee. How about some dandelions? One person's weed and all that.
